We returned to Bugatti Munich in May 2026 to film beside the Chiron and Chiron Pur Sport, and to look closely at real carbon fiber.
On 26 May 2026 we went back to Bugatti Munich. No mixed lineup this time, just Chirons, including the Pur Sport sitting under the showroom lights with its fixed rear wing exposed.
That wing is the reason we keep coming back to this place. It is dry carbon, autoclave cured, and unpainted, so nothing hides the weave. Stand at the right angle and the fiber shifts from black to grey as the light moves across it. That effect is not a finish. It is the material doing what the material does.
Our forged carbon is made differently. Instead of long sheets laid in one direction, forged carbon uses short chopped strands pressed under heat and pressure, so the pattern comes out marbled and no two pieces are identical. It is the same fiber, arranged another way, and it is why a forged carbon fiber case never repeats itself. Printed film on plastic repeats every few centimeters. Look for that and you can tell the two apart in a second.
We filmed our cases against the Pur Sport for exactly that reason. Put a real material next to a real material and neither one has to be explained.
Definitely worth to visit.
